Hi, I’m Sasha Leslie, a hairstylist with 4 decades of experience. 

I specialise in expertly cutting all hair types and styles—from salon-friendly classics to uniquely bespoke creations.

Growing up in Notting Hill, a vibrant London neighbourhood known for its Caribbean heritage and creative energy, I was immersed in hairdressing from an early age. 

My mother, Mary-Anne, was one of the original stylists Vidal Sassoon personally selected for his first salon on Bond Street. I spent weekends and holidays in the salon, watching her work and teach, this sparked my passion for the craft.

I began my career under the apprenticeship of Andrew Jose—one of my mother’s former students—at his Fitzrovia salon. From there, I followed in her footsteps, training at Sassoon and completing their rigorous Vardering program. I worked as a stylist in the Leeds and London salons later becoming an educator in their world-renowned academy.

Beyond the salon, I’ve had the privilege of assisting legendary hair stylists on many high-profile events, including London Fashion Week and the Hairdresser of the Year Awards. My work has been featured in various magazines, and I’ve styled music artists for videos, TV and awards performances.

I have a loyal and diverse client base, some of whom travel from overseas. My aim is of course to create beautiful haircuts that look great when you leave the salon but also stand the test of time and pass the “wash-and-go” test.
